Message From Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, GTU

Dear Students, Faculty Members, Principals/Directors,

Our university has always been a beacon of knowledge and innovation, dedicated to fostering excellence in education, research, and innovation. In this rapidly evolving landscape, I would like to share some thoughts on key areas that are shaping the future of education and the role our institution plays in this transformative journey.

The advancement of technologies of Artificial Intelligence and automation, is revolutionizing industries across the globe. These technologies are not only influencing the way we work but also the way we learn and teach. At GTU, we recognize the significance of these emerging technologies along with implementation of industry 4.0, in preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. We are committed to integrating AI-driven tools and technologies into our curriculum, ensuring that our graduates are well-equipped to harness the potential.

Research is the cornerstone of any great university, and at GTU, we take immense pride in our commitment to cutting-edge research. Our esteemed faculty and dedicated researchers continue to make groundbreaking discoveries that address some of the most pressing challenges. From healthcare innovations to sustainability solutions and beyond, our research endeavors are amply disseminated through our publications and patents. We shall continue to invest in research infrastructure, foster interdisciplinary collaborations, and support our faculty and students in their pursuit of knowledge.

Innovation is the engine that propels society forward and we are dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation at our university. We believe that innovation goes hand in hand with education, and our mission is to nurture the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Through our GTU Innovation & Startup Council (GISC) and partnerships with industry leaders, we provide a platform for our students and researchers to transform their ideas into real-world solutions. Our ecosystem ensures a hub for disruptive technologies and groundbreaking ideas that have a lasting impact on industry and society.

Councils and Boards comprising of extremely high end industry experts, researchers and academicians, our Deans Council, experts from across domains, have helped us in creating policies and SoPs, for ushering in industry readiness of our students, multi-disciplinary, flexible, skill based and flexible curricula to adapt to emerging and futuristic technologies, strong academic and professional networks, opportunities for learning beyond the coursework through our center for Industries Skill enhancement, Dharohar Center for IKS and International Center.

Faculty are our backbone and hence GTU has launched various policies to enhance their capabilities in emerging technologies, research and innovation and industry exposure. As stakeholders, you are an integral part of team GTU and your proactive contribution and engagement are invaluable to the enable the vision of NEP in its true spirit. Together, we will continue to build a university that not only adapts to the challenges of the future but also shapes them.
