Conference section of the university performs different activities related to the event management. Apart from providing internal support in arranging various events, many other tasks are also managed by Conference Section ‐

Event Management
Various sections / PG schools of the university conduct seminars / FDPs / Workshops / Meetings / Conferences etc. regularly throughout the year. Conference section manages various activities related to the event like –
- Coordination with departments of GTU for conducting events
- Arranging Mementos for felicitation of guests
- Venue Management
- Availability of working sound system
- Availability of projectors in halls.
- Finalizing the vendors for printing of certificates & banners
- Finalizing the vendors for accommodation
- Videography & Photography for events and sharing photographs with other sections
- Coordination with affiliated institutes for uploading Brochures/ Reports on GTU Website
- Supporting other events of the university – Foundation Day, Convocation etc.

GTU QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER – SARTHAK
GTU publishes quarterly newsletter ‘SARTHAK’ since last 5 years. All published issues are available on GTU website.

AICTE Project of Question Bank Translation
Question Bank of more than 25,000 questions was allocated to GTU for translating in Gujarati language under the scheme of AICTE Students Learning Assessment Project (ASLAP). The project is successfully completed. The questions were translated in Gujarati by more than 225 translators.
UG / Diploma First Year Books Translation in Gujarati Language
- As per National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, GTU has taken initiative in association with AICTE to offer technical books in regional language.
- GTU has signed MoU with AICTE and one of the activities under MoU is translating the UG and Diploma books of the Engineering first year in Gujarati language.
- Currently following no. of books have been translated for first year and are under the process of printing after completing the review process –
- UG – 9 Books and Diploma – 11 Books
UG / Diploma Second Year Books for Translation in Gujarati Language
- Currently GTU has started work for second year books translation.
- Name of translators and reviewers have been finalized.
- Total No. of UG Books for 2nd Year: 42
- Total No. of Diploma Books for 2nd Year: 46
